“Pride One is fortunate to be considered an ‘essential business‘ by the State of Ohio. But that does not mean that COVID-19 has not impacted our business,” says Taylor Leohr of Pride One Construction. “COVID-19 has caused many subcontractors to not show up or have smaller crews. Suppliers are not able to provide certain materials. GLXY Software was able to quickly develop a new section in Daily Site Logs to help us easily and accurately document the effects of COVID-19. This allows our Site Supervisors to easily document the effects. Also, everyone in the company can access the documents through the shared portal. Pride One can now provide a professional report to all project owners that accurately shows the effects of this pandemic.”
Expanded Daily Site Logs module tracks COVID-19 impact
Daily Site Logs is a main module in GLXY Software’s construction management platform. The daily site log compiles an important record of the relevant activities that occur each day on a construction project. GLXY helps make the project superintendent’s recording, compilation, and sharing of daily site logs exponentially easier.
When the COVID-19 pandemic started impacting construction work, Pride One requested that GLXY add a way to quickly and easily document the impact. GLXY completed the modification in just a few days.
Daily and weekly reports document construction delays and shortages
The Daily Site Log module integrates with GLXY’s Scheduling and Document Management modules. Consequently, the collected data is recorded in context and is more meaningful. The Daily Site Log module creates a daily site log report. Therefore, you can email this report directly to the owner. Or instead, compile the daily reports into a weekly report to share with your owner.
